一、教育目標(Educational Goals)

(一)行：培養學生程式設計能力並認識計算機的各種應用。

Action: cultivate students' programming ability and understanding of various applications of computer

(二)遠：增強學生外語能力，蒐集與組織知識的能力。

Future: enhance students' skill in foreign languages and ability to collect and organize knowledge

(三)必：奠定數學能力。

Requisite: build a strong mathematics foundation

(四)自：培養學生自信態度，團隊精神與工作倫理。

Confidence: develop students' self-confidence, team spirit, and work ethic

(五)邇：強化計算機軟、硬體之理論。

Basis: strength students' understanding of theories in computational software and hardware development

二、核心能力(Core competencies)

(一)數學、科學及工程的預備知識。
The preliminary knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering

(二) 資訊領域在各種行業的應用與對環境、社會的影響。

The understanding of computational applications in various types of industries and their impact on the environment and society 

(三)現代各種資訊軟、硬體工具的應用能力。

The ability to manage various emerging software and hardware

(四)程式的設計與分析能力，程式所得數據的詮釋能力。

The ability to design and analyze computational programs and further interpret the results obtained by the programs
